Job Description -

Job Summary & Responsibilities -

To ensure:

- The domestic Wholesale Banking (WSB) business growth across the segments of Large Corporate, Govt & Public Sector, Emerging Corporate Banking and diversify the clientele profile in terms of size and markets in Oman.

- Correspondent Banking relationship with Overseas Banks, manage proprietary investment book of the Bank, to promote the Syndication business including participation in overseas deals within the regulatory limits.

- Proper maintenance of the regulatory ratios and effective use of residual funds through active treasury management.

- Growth of fee income base of the Bank with multi product focus and promoting non-funded lines with the existing / new clientele.

- Cost of funds is kept at the optimum by choice of resources for the Bank from different segments of WSB clients including inter banks.

- To maintain proper quality of assets, improving the yield on advances and instrumental in growth in relationship of WSB clients.

- Consistent growth in market share of the business in the local market

- Achieve investment grade rating for the Bank due to sustainable business performance business.

- Responsible for managing the Bank's international relationships with a full range of financial institutions in order to raise and maintain the Bank's profile and leverage profits.

- Oversee the Corporate Liabilities business for the Bank, including overall liability book growths, net interest incomes, fee lines, customer acquisition, account acquisition in line with business objectives and plans in order to achieve bottom line growth, by providing quality and innovative products, and developing active relationship teams.

- To determine and recommend the strategy for the Bank's own investment portfolio, managing the portfolio on a day to day basis so as to maximize the return to the bank while minimizing the risk
