General Manager - Finance - Startup - CA

Roles and Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Month-End Closures:

- Manage entity financials and provide monthly performance reports.

- Lead book closure activities, incl. preparing supporting schedules for Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss accounts.

- Prepare MIS reports and cash flow statements for management.

- Quarterly planning, Budgeting and Forecasting.

Audit & Compliance:

- Lead Statutory, Internal, Tax audits.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards ( IND AS) and other statutory requirements.

- Liaise with government departments for PF, TDS, and PT compliance.

Accounting Operations:

- Oversee General Ledger reviews, payroll processing, and accounts payable.

- Manage deferred and unbilled revenue processes and fixed asset accounting, including depreciation runs.

- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with the Companies Act.

ERP Systems & Process Improvement:

- Maintain and enhance accounting processes using ERP systems

- Drive process improvements for better financial accuracy and efficiency.

Strategic Financial Support:

- Provide financial insights and reports for various business segments.

- Directly report to management on financial matters and support strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.

- Experience required 5+ years post qualification

- Strong working knowledge of Indian accounting standards ( IND AS )

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Tally preferred).

- Excellent communication & leadership skills to manage internal & external stakeholders.

- Expertise in financial statement preparation.

- In-depth knowledge of statutory regulations and audit requirements.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
