The General Manager- Finance will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company and providing strategic financial guidance to support the organization's growth objectives.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to drive profitability and ensure the company's financial health.

Scope & Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Planning:

- To determine financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control.

- Preparation of Business plans in coordination with operational teams and monitoring revenue commitments are met by conducting variance analysis.

- Preparation of business & SBU wise MIS for the review and control of various business operations across the group.

- To institute internal control systems viz debtors' management, stock monitoring & Inventory control, as well as implementing cost control measures.

- Develop relationships with investors, financial institutions, and stakeholders to raise funds for growth initiatives.

- Liaise and negotiate with banks and financial institutions for raising fund and non-fund based facilities to meet working capital and project requirements.

2. Financial Controlling and Compliance: -

- Establish and maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Liaising with statutory/internal auditors for timely completion of audits as well as implementation of audit observations.

- Monitor and mitigate financial risks, implementing effective risk management strategies.

- Ensuring compliance to the government rules and regulations as laid down by statutory authorities' viz. Income Tax department, GST, PF, etc.

- Oversee the company secretary function including periodic and timely conduct of Board Meetings, Committee meetings and all formalities precedent & succeeding such meetings.

3. Fund Management / Budgeting :

- To formulate budgets and conduct variance analysis to determine difference between projected figures & actual expenditure and implementing corrective actions.

- Preparation of Project feasibility Reports etc.

- Managing treasury function involving optimum utilization of surplus funds in profitable investments to achieve higher returns

4. Accounts / MIS:

- To design and implement systems & procedures; supervising the consolidation of group accounts and preparation of financial statements & annual reports.

- To establish strategic cost management systems / techniques for monitoring various overheads and achieving maximum cost control in operations.

- To supervise the preparation of MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on financial performance, viz. fund management, credit control, profitability, and continuous review and upgradation of MIS.

- Preparation of various monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly reports (Includes reports like profit forecast / cash flow forecast / inventory forecast and other performance reports).

Qualifications & Experience:

- CA with 15+ years of post-qualification experience in manufacturing sector desirable.

- In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, accounting practices, and financial regulations.

- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to provide valuable insights for decision-making.

- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.

- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and contribute to the overall business strategy.

- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

- Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to ethical business practices
