Objective:
To manage Treasury, Taxation, Shareholder Relations, Regulatory Compliances, Financial Accounting, Statutory & Management Reporting functions to ensure highest levels of credibility and strong working relationships across internal and external stakeholders. Play a leading role in establishing and maintaining the Governance framework of the Company and the Group

Financial Strategy, Planning and Management - Assess and evaluate financial performance of organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts
- Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization
- Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company's plan for growth and expansion
- Select and engage consultants, auditors and investors as required from time to time.
- Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models including the business development team with optimal tax (direct, indirect and international) structures for expansion projects of the group.
- Interact with and bring department into line with plans for the broader Tabreed Group where relevant and for Tabreed Asia and Indian subsidiaries implementing suitable initiatives and recommendations.
- Develop, review the Financial policies and procedures in accordance with group and relevant accounting/taxation laws
Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting:- Lead the annual budgeting and 5 year plan process working effectively with relevant departments/teams in Tabreed India and as relevant Tabreed Asia to ensure robust 5 years plans are put in place.
- Liaise with Tabreed UAE Finance team and or other departments as necessary for budgets and 5 year plan alignment and Asia specific shareholders as required prior to finalization of business plans.
- Lead the process of presenting and securing approvals from the board of directors prior to adoption of the annual budget and 5 year plans.
- Rolling monthly forecast up to year end (with actuals and forecast for rest of the year)
- Prepare and analyse Revenue and its variances; Key ratios and its variances
Shareholder Relations:- Effective understanding of corporate structure for Tabreed in Asia and India with underlying shareholder agreements at various entities for compliance with all terms of shareholder agreements
- Shareholder reporting processes and group's board, board sub-committee processes management in close co-ordination with board secretary.
- Presenting Company's strategy, financial performance, growth opportunities & business initiatives to current & potential shareholders of the company
- Managing Company's relationships & coordinating with various service providers such as investment banks & external subject matter experts (tax, legal, accounting, valuations, etc) as well as statutory authorities
- Lead the production of Annual Financial Statements & AGM related deliverables
Management & Group Reporting:- Direct the preparation of monthly Management Reports, comparing actual performance of the Group against detailed budgets and financial plans on a composite and unitary basis for approval and distribution to the shareholders where relevant, Board, Senior Management and departments in Tabreed India and Asia
- Evaluate profit & cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed
- Prepare investee management reports as required
Financial Accounting:- Direct the preparation of Group Statutory Accounts on a monthly basis, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards for the holding company in Singapore and in accordance with Indian GAAP for India incorporated entities
- Lead and direct the processing of transactions controlled by the finance function to ensure accurate and timely completion:
o Utility invoices & payments;
o Supplier invoices & payments;
o Projects invoices & payments;
o Customer invoices & receipts;
o Petty cash returns and reimbursement;
o Employee loans, advances & expenses;
o Physical verification of fixed assets
o Internal controls
o Statutory compliances, liabilities and payments
o Banking & financing arrangements related payments
o Shareholder and related party related payments
Employee payrolls (All Asia/India group companies)
Treasury and Corporate Finance:- Recommend comprehensive strategies to structure cash management & to raise debt capital whether domestic in India or internationally including through shareholder external commercial borrowing arrangements
- Effective cash flow management & contribution to wider working capital management
- Manage working relationships with banks for guarantee, foreign exchange and other facilities at the most competitive rates for the Group's cost benefit
- Detailed, long term cash forecasting to manage short and medium term financial risks
- Effective management of all financing arrangements including amongst others setting up processes to manage information reporting covenants
Taxation & Regulatory Compliances:- Develop and monitor internal controls and set in place processes to manage all direct, indirect, international tax and regulatory compliances for the company and its subsidiaries activities in India
- Manage periodic tax compliances and reporting including tax audit processes for each year
Statutory & Internal Audit Management:- Lead the external statutory audit and group internal audit processes in an effective and seamless manner ensuring minimal audit observations or delays arising and prompt closure of issues post audit to the extent highlighted through the audit processes
- Ensuring compliance on agreed recommendations of the Auditors raised in the Management Letters of the Company
Minimum Qualifications:Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent is a must
Minimum Experience:- 12-14 years of post-qualification experience preferably having exposure within one of the Big 4 audit firms followed by a similar role primarily in the Finance function in a large or complex organization, with experience of handling a team of in-house staff and external consultants
- Experience working in a non ERP environment with support through an ERP implementation process would be highly desirable
- Experience working for an MNC in infrastructure development, renewable energy or utility businesses with long term concession arrangement or PPP structures implemented through project specific special purpose vehicles would be a plus
