General Manager - F&A
Roles and Responsibilities :
1. ACCOUNTS :
- To monitor day to day accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable function
- Responsible for preparation and timely closure of Quarterly & Annual Financials of listed entity and its subsidiaries
- Responsible for consolidation of Financial Statements of listed entity on quarterly and annual basis
- To ensure proper internal financial controls are in place and they are in line with regulatory framework
- Ensure all vendor bills/ invoices are cleared as per defined timelines
- Sound Knowledge of IND AS, Companies Act, IFCs and other allied Corporate and Accounting Laws
2. TAXATION :
- To monitor timely completion of various compliances under Direct and Indirect Tax Law
- Ensure timely and accurate payments of taxes as applicable under Direct and Indirect Tax Law
- Checking and ensuring timely filing of various tax returns under Direct and Indirect Tax Law
- To handle various IT Assessments and ensuring timely submission /replies of various notices
- Ensure timely submission to any show cause notices under Indirect Tax Law
- Technically sound about various tax provisions
- Responsible for implementation of changes in various tax laws and must be updated about changes in tax laws
- To interact with external consultants / Government officials in relation to various tax related matters
3. AUDIT:
- Responsible for completion of Statutory Audits of various SPVs
- Responsible for timely completion of Internal Audits of various SPVs and ensure that same is conducted as per pre-defined scope
- Sharing summary of key observations of Internal Audit to Management including any corrective action to be taken on the same
- Ensure compliances with all findings/ recommendations from internal/ external audits
- To ensure timely completion of Tax Audits, Cost Audits etc. of various SPVs
4. MIS AND BUDGETS :
- Preparation of Projections on Quarterly and Annual basis
- To monitor Budget Vs Actuals and do variance analysis
- Preparation of Monthly Cash Flow
- To monitor and review various critical Financial and Accounting MIS
5. OTHERS :
- Designing and implementing various SOPs to strengthen Internal Control across various businesses and SPV's
- To interact with various functional heads and regional Financial Controllers
- Sharing of various information to consultants for any due diligence activity
- To contribute towards any potential merger and acquisition activity
- To work towards automation of various processes
- To monitor, guide and coach team members
Desired Candidate Profile :1. Industry Preference: Real Estate/Construction/Manufacturing
2. Can even target Real Estate Companies which are not listed and having a turnover of 1000 crores and above.
3. Exposure to consolidation of accounts, taxation etc.
