The incumbent would be responsible for:
Financial accounting and reporting :
- Prepares, analyzes and interprets financial, accounting and statistical information to aid in the direction of a company's business and for other purposes of internal and external use, including:
- Financial statements preparation;
- Monthly, Quarterly & Annually PL, B Sheet & Cash Flow
- Preparation/ Analysis of Actual/ Forecast/ Budgeted
- Coordinating with Internal & External (Statutory Auditor)
- Statutory Compliances: TDS/TCS/ Tax Audit/ TP/Service Tax/ Excise
- Banking Exposure : FIRC/ BRC/ Short Term Funding
- Conducting of Board Meetings
- ROC & RBI Annual & other Filings and other Compliances
- Annual and other periodic budgets and forecast;
- Administer annual and quarterly inventory counts;
- Prepares annual audit file;
- Annual quarterly schedule for Group Office and external auditors;
- Information requests from Group Office
- Monthly review of financial Performance with all Divisional Managers
Other special reports and information as required;
- Cash Management; and coordination, preparation and submission of the annual Business Plan.
- Maintains the General Ledger and other general accounting records and related controls.
- Special projects/duties as assigned by the General Manager.
- Coordinates and manages the efforts of purchasing.
- Works independently, setting own pace and schedule, adhering to financial deadlines.
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained as per organization's expectations.
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including Withholding Payments, Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax.
- Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting as compared to budget & forecast.
- Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures as required to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure.
- Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
- Oversee all direct & indirect tax and regulatory compliance issues
- Knowledge of companies act 2013 requirement of a private limited company.
Qualifications :
Education :
- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
Knowledge, skills and abilities :
- Good knowledge on Company secretary requirements
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
- Well-developed written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Proficiency in the use of computer programs for:
- SAP / ERP/Tally
Proficient in advance excel

17+ years of post-qualification
