General Manager - Engineering

Title of function: General Manager Engineering.

Position of Functional Superior: Plant Head.

Location: Pune.

Purpose of the function:

- Lead and implement initiatives under Industry 4.0, driving significant industrial engineering projects and collaborating effectively across different functions and departments.

- In addition to the below-mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be include all relevant tasks.

Strategic Implementation:

- Drive, conceptualize, and execute initiatives related to Industry 4.0 ensuring alignment with the company & strategic objectives.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals, fostering collaborative and innovative work environments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with various departments to ensure seamless integration and implementation of engineering initiatives.

Process Optimization:

- Continuously assess and improve process engineering strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Project Management:

- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

Innovation and Development:

- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, implementing cutting-edge solutions to maintain the company's competitive edge.

Requirements: Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field Minimum 20 years of professional experience in an engineering company, with a significant focus on industrial engineering initiatives.

- Proven experience in leading Industry 4.0 initiatives or similar transformative projects.
