Position : General Manager - Domestic Sales
Company Profile : Manufacturers of Pharma coating / Excipient/API
Purpose of the Role :
To manage organisational sales led business growth plans by Improve visibility for the brand and products, finding newer Customers/clients, manage continuity and growth in the existing customers and manage discipline and productivity amongst the
- Develop short term and long-term strategies for building the Brand so as to improve visibility of the brand and the products.
- Managing organisational growth through sales by developing a business plan that covers developing clients and geographies in terms of sales, margins and revenues.
- Being the face of Vikram Thermo for existing customers prospective/clients.
- Setting individual/month wise sales and activity targets for self and all the reportees at HO and Field, monitoring the same periodically so as to achieve the set sales goals.
- Overseeing the activities and performance of the team members below.
- Tracking sales goals/ collections and fixed weekly/fortnightly reporting as necessary.
- Creating systematic MIS to monitor product trends in market/ other brokers
- Build effective CRM to make regular customers are not ignored and key prospects are contacted from time to time.
- Continuous on job training for self and team members.
- Periodic and regular reporting to management on market, sales targets, existing and new customers and performance of self and team.
- Set a revenue and expense budget and ensure steps to adhere to the same month on month basis.
Desired Profile :
- B.Sc + MBA (Mktg) from Reputed Institute with 15+years experience in Sales & Marketing of Pharma Coating / Excipient/ API, out of which 5 years as Heading Sales functions.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
