Brief of the role:
- Candidate will be working on one of the following teams - CEOs Office, Strategy Supply, Stores, Marketplace,
- He/She is expected to structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives through a combination of strategy, analytics & project management
- He / She may also be expected to launch new business opportunities post opportunity analysis, business case establishment and cost - benefit trade-offs
- Candidate is expected to be a sounding board for the senior leadership and influencing the key strategic decisions of the company
- He/She should have demonstrated ability to react quickly but thoughtfully to unexpected changes in prioritization, opportunity, and resources
- Specifics of the role would also be dependent on the exact team being hired and will be discussed over call
To summarize, candidates are expected to manage / lead independent charters for a designated vertical with an even balance across strategy, analytics and project management with significant exposure to senior leadership of the company (reporting manager would
mostly be head of function)
Expected background:
- 3-10 years of work-experience with at least 2+ years of working in big 4 consulting firm.
- Exposure to e-commerce is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong pedigree in education and / or work-experience
- Bring together the right mix of IQ and EQ - displays ability to manage large teams /business units
- Entrepreneurial personality, drive and ambition to achieve something big - always looking to position themselves in difficult but most impactful opportunities
- Ability to work on ambiguous problems but is right, a lot - strong business judgement and good instincts
- Open-minded and willing to examine own convictions with high levels of humility
- High levels of curiosity to keep abreast of trends that impact the business and ability to connect dots across initiatives to deliver high performance
- Ability to attract, hire and mentor the right talent to extract super-normal returns form the team
