General Manager/Director - Learning & Development - Internet/Online (8-18 yrs)

Scope of the Role:

- To develop managers who are integrators of organizational strategies and practices into 'Leaders' ready to take on larger roles and responsibilities. Facilitate a variety of initiatives that enable to build such a leadership pipeline across various businesses by ensuring flawless execution of learning and development journeys and other key initiatives. Be a catalyst in building leaders who are able to lead employees to accomplish the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing 'Manager Development Programs':

- Assess relevant training needs for managers in consultation with department heads, by using a systematic approach (such as assessment tools, performance feedback etc.)

- Conduct research and analyze data in relation to the alignment and success of the Managerial effectiveness goals, which includes identifying skill gaps and developing critical feedback on implemented learning intervention.

- Design appropriate manager development initiatives (coaching, training, hands-on projects etc.) leveraging internal SMEs or by engaging external service providers.

- Keeping the outcomes of interventions in perspective (skill development, performance improvement etc.), evaluate the design and execution plans of proposed initiatives as well as their modes of deployment (e-learning, virtual learning, site-based training, blended programs etc.)

- Ensure effective implementation of the overall 'Manager Development Initiatives' through continual stakeholder engagements and timely program effectiveness measurements.

- Share periodic updates on all initiatives with stakeholders, seek feedback on past events to work on improvements and seek their inputs on emerging and future development needs of their teams.

Optimising Learning Experience Platform (LxP):

- Stay updated on Business through constant engagement with business leaders across Businesses to identity manager talent development needs and measurement metrics.

- Define the success metrics for various manager cohorts to drive learning in the organization through the Learning Experience Platform.

- Work towards creating awareness, adoption and advocacy of the Learning Experience Platform by all managers and leaders through orientation programs, engagement contests, creating group learning opportunities etc.

- Ensure all activities and materials hosted on the platform meet relevant organizational and statutory policies, including health and safety, employment and equality laws.

Logistics Management:

- Arrange for the maintenance of all necessary equipment and materials relating to the effective delivery and measurement of training.

- Ensure all activities and materials hosted on the platform meet relevant organizational and statutory policies, including health and safety, employment and equality laws.

- Ensure all training content are converted digital and hosted on Learning platforms for scalability of Learning.

- Identify, select and manage external training and accreditation bodies, agencies and provide necessary assistance to deliver required training to appropriate standards.

- Interact & negotiate with vendors and manage all payments to vendors.

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Post Graduate with specialization in HR.

- 7-10+ years of experience post MBA.

- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems/Learning Experience Platforms; Mobile Learning.

- Certifications in Facilitation/ Instructional Design.

- Influencing Skills, Stakeholder Management, Growth Mindset, Execution excellence.
