General Manager - Digital Strategy & eCommerce Sales - Retail Sector - IIM/FMS/MDI/XLRI (12-16 yrs)
Online Strategy & Business Development Lead will lead a team which analyzes market evolution, identifies new programs, partners and initiatives, continually improves execution of new initiatives, and analyzes performance data to identify optimization opportunities. We are looking for an accomplished Strategy & Planning professional, who brings a combination of strategy development experience, analytical mind-set and e-commerce / consumer internet & digital experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Assess online market evolution, marketplace operators, Brand.com strategies and competition strategies
- Assess impact of changing regulatory environment in ecom industry and implications of the same on Samsung's online business
- Identify new growth hacks, i.e. initiatives and partners to accelerate online sales growth for Samsung in India
- Create business case for growth hacks and drive internal alignment
- Incubate new partners and initiatives
- Drive sales through New/differentiated/best-in-class sell out platforms (Finance, Insurance, Buyback/ Exchange, Partner offers etc.)
- Lead development of business case, planning and execution of identified projects
- Navigate through the organization to drive internal alignments and approvals
- Track progress & continuously work on optimization plans for the initiatives led
- Participate in development of optimization plans for existing initiatives
- Track progress of initiatives qualitatively and quantitatively
- Drive strategic partnership discussions with Internet/Digital ecosystem companies

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- 12+ years of overall experience with
- Preferred: 5+ years of strategy consulting experience with exposure to ecommerce / retail / digital transformation, or
- 3+ years of ecommerce experience in strategy / planning / analytics roles
- MBA from top tier business school
- Strong problem solving skills
- Data oriented mind-set
- Creative thinking ability
- Good communication skills a storyteller!
- Track record of collaborative work with cross-functional teams
- Take charge and get things done mentality
