Job Position: GM / DGM   Department: Product Management & Marketing  Reports to: CEO  Location: Mumbai  Team Details  No of Direct Reports: 3-4  Total Team Size: 3-4  Key Educational Qualification:  Engineering graduate (preferably in Electronics / Instrumentation / software) with an ME / MTech / MBA degree  Required Experience:  Experience:   - 15 to 20 years in product management and marketing in the similar industry. Must have an experience of handling complete product lifecycle, across various products.  - Industry: Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, Automation software solutions, capital pharma equipment, Inspection systems  Level Specific Accountabilities:  - Ensuring end to end lifecycle management of company product lines  - Liasion between sales, company Principals, Operations, R&D for ensuring sustainability and stability of products  - Determine customer needs and desires by undertaking market research & analysis, competitor analysis, along with innovation and product development  - Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and / or product or packaging changes  - Strategically assess competition by comparing the company's product to competitor's products  - Define, strategize and roll out product marketing communication  - Working with sales team to develop and implement product sales strategies  - Introduce new products into the market by analyzing proposed product requirements, preparing product ROI, establishing time schedules with R&D, Engineering & Manufacturing; so as to have time bound new product delivery  - Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data, competitor's products, reviewing production and all related costs, anticipating volume, differentially costing special and customized orders.  - Function independently to devise the strategy for the respective product with broad guidance from business/management objectives  - Take decisions on complex issues where analysis requires an in-depth assessment of many variables and potential consequences which impact product lifecycle   Key Competencies:  Technical/Functional Competencies :  - Product Lifecycle Management   - Product Development  - Pricing Strategy  - Competition Analysis  - Stakeholder Management  - Market Analysis  Leadership Competencies :  - Strong influencing skills  - Strong listening skills  - Strategic Thinking  - Timely Decision Making  - Cross-cultural skills  - Customer Focus  - Team and People Development  - Drive for Consistent Results  - Leadership Stature and presence
