General Manager/Deputy General Manager - Consumer Insights (6-11 yrs)

We have an excellent opening for you with our client a Number One developer in Mumbai having 36 ongoing projects in Mumbai Pune Hyderabad looking for a GM/DGM role at Head office for consumer Insights as the JD and other details as,

Delineate the job description and key deliverable for the Consumer Insights Intelligence Manager (CIM)

Functional Mandate & KRAs of CIM :

- Establish a consumer research framework to aid effective decision making for company across all the key business dimensions, with clear go/no go criteria

- To plan, conduct and publish various research assignments : Category/ Brand researches as well as project /activation based researches - How - early- in the product lifecycle can he/she give critical consumer insights that influence decision making

Quality of Reports/Insights :

- Quality of recommendations to business problem

Skill sets required :

- 8 to 10 years of experience in Consumer Research in a similar category egg: Auto (either at client side or at agency side)

- Experience in new ways of consumer research (online etc.)

- Ability to strongly & easily negotiate with multiple external research agencies

- Very good analytical skills

- Self-Starter, strong team player with very good influencing skills.

- They key is to establish a framework to understand the consumer behavior, needs, need gaps, motivations, preferences, buying behavior, pricing and category trends, with respect to various consumer segments within Real Estate (luxury/aspirational/affordable), to aid profitable decision making across consumer facing functions. Also creating an - environment- of research across these consumer facing functions

- It requires incumbent to set up systems and processes to collect / assimilate / analyze and disseminate consumer insights on a periodic basis to the senior management for real estate category, the Client brand, category segments and Client projects.

- These consumer insights will influence key marketing decisions such as product design, advertising messaging, choosing the media, formulating sales pitch, and offering seamless consumer experience across the product life cycle and promotional activities.

In a nutshell:

- Capture consumer information in a structured way on a regular basis. Conduct custom made studies/ reports for internal consumption/decision making

- Publish reports on a regular basis

- Maintain the information captured in a easily accessible database from which other stake holders can access relevant data.
