General Manager - Cyber Security

Experience : 18 yrs+

Location : Pune, India

Reports to : VP, Head of Cyber Security Global Service Line.

Candidates MUST have the following to qualify for this position :

- 18+ years of experience in IT with extensive experience in large scale 24x7 Cyber Security Engineering

- Comprehensive understanding of various Information Protection and Access Management Cyber Security platforms including DLP, Email cloud, MCA,S PKI, HSM, AIP, Cyberark, , and in-house developed access management platforms

- Comprehensive understanding of industry level cyber security policies, standards, baselines, processes, and procedures

- Significant experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance including SOX, GDPR, ISO 27K1, among others

- Experience of working directly in/with large Telco organizations which have multiple global entities

Candidates will have an edge over qualifying against other candidates if they have following :

- Experience of leading engineering/operations of other Cyber Security platforms

- Knowledge of wider Cyber Security capabilities (such as Governance-Risk-Compliance, Cyber Defence)

- Experience of working in transformation initiatives in Cyber Security.

- Excellent leadership skills - stakeholder management, strategic thinking, influencing, and negotiation

- Exceptional communication skills - verbal, written, and PowerPoint presentation

- Change management skills to be an effective change leader by challenging the status quo and by executing the required change, while ensuring that strong relationships are maintained and build, along with high levels of motivation in team

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstration of pragmatic innovation

Accountabilities :

- Lead the Information Protection and Access Management capabilities in end-to-end to improve the security posture across various global and local business entities to reduce overall cyber risk to the company

- Deliver our Information Protection and Access Management from India - both projects and operations

- Streamline the operational KPI reporting across the teams

- Interface with internal and external assessors/auditors, if and as/when required

- Drive continuous improvement of quantitative and qualitative factors that will improve costs, quality of service, and experience, including automation

- Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives across cyber security and wider

- Attract good talent from the market ensuring timely and quality hiring; Ensure higher diversity levels across the team

- Ensure consistent learning and development of the team by defining and executing individual development plans

- Ensure high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction

- Continuously reduce attrition levels in line with industry standards

- Ensure resource efficiency targets are achieved year on year by use of various efficiency levers

- Lead and contribute to cross-functional administrative initiatives across domains
