General Manager - Credit - CA - BFS

Roles & Responsibilities : 

Credit Underwriting & Developing Credit Policy

- Review of all credit- proposals with a view to give- credit- opinion / concurrence.

- Ensure- Credit- Quality, provide- credit- recommendations for the portfolio

- Monitor Daily, Weekly, Fortnightly and Monthly MIS- credits- & early warning signals to minimize- credit- losses and devise appropriate strategies to reduce losses

- The incumbent would be responsible for efficient and effective proposal reviews including exercising- credit- delegations. Also contribute towards periodic updating of- credit- policy, norms, rating matrix and various other- credit- related projects.

- Monitoring of exposure to different industry sectors, the environment for the respective sectors

- Provide inputs on strategy to Business Team and Senior Management

Facilitate the process of annual review of- credit- lines to customers including

Monitoring of stressed and NPA accounts

- Manage Portfolio by tracking through various MIS reports and analyzing Portfolio Profitability,- Credit- Risks, Provisioning, and Delinquency flow rates

- Underwriting in line with best-in- class benchmarks without Deviations from documented policy

- Monitor Underwriting proposals & check decisions in order to bring in uniformity in- credit- decisions

- Enable automation of entire accreditation system in coordination with IT Team

- Enable technology integrations with third-party systems

- Ensuring conformance to approved credit norms

Preferred Candidate : 

Qualification : CA or MBA in Finance from a premier college

- Experience : Around 15 years of credit risk / corporate business management experience with 5 years at senior level in a Bank / NBFC.

- In-depth knowledge of Financial & Credit Risk analysis

- Risk (credit/investment, operational, others) identification and mitigation Banking products and procedures;

- Ability to understand economic / industry cycles

- Analysis of annual reports, Income tax returns, and cash flow statements

- Excellent communication skills verbal, and written (including report writing)

- Problem-solving attitude

- Savviness with computers
