General Manager - Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

We are retained by a well known NGO set up by a reputed MNC for holistic rural development with its presence across India. The main objectives of the organization is to eradicate poverty from the villages by promoting various income generation activities in agriculture, animal husbandry, rural/cottage industries, etc. It also organize various programmes in health, education, rural infrastructure, water and sanitation, etc.

We are looking for a highly capable General Manager to implement various rural development programmes in more than 5,000 villages across India encompassing the above activities.

The ideal person should be a postgraduate (preferably MBAs from reputed institutions) with a post qualification experience of 12 to 30 years in NGOs/social sector organizations working in rural areas.

The position is opened for both Male and Female candidates.

The candidate should have excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, both verbal and written, besides good computer skills. Knowledge of other Indian languages will be an added advantage.

Job responsibility:

Initially, She/He will be the second person in command in the organization, who will be elevated to No.1 position in due course of time.

She/He will strategise the corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities of the entire business group, besides taking full responsibility of the NGOs set up by the Group in various places, in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating various CSR projects to get maximum coverage in India and abroad in the social sector.

She/he will also be responsible for mobilising resources (subsidies, grant-in-aid, developmental funds etc) from the government, funding agencies and local bodies.

Job location:

The organization has offices in Rajasthan, Maharasthra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashmir. He will be headquartered in Eastern Rajasthan and will be frequently visiting all the programme areas across India.

Compensation:

The compensation can be go upto Rs. 20 lakhs depending on the candidates profile.
