Position: General Manager - Corporate Human Resources

Organization: Leading Infra Group having geographic spread in multiple cities.

Location: Bangalore-Corporate Office

Reporting to : Head Corporate HR

Job Scope / Purpose of the Role:

- The incumbent would be responsible for entire gamut of HR activities for the corporate. The role would involve engaging with the key stakeholders in the organization and leading a set of HR professionals.

- The incumbent would direct Human Resource Management, by creating systems and processes to implement best HR practices and Organization Development activities directed towards organizational change and effectiveness with the objective of creating a high performance culture and building competitive capability

Key Responsibilities :

Organizational Development and Change Management

- Develop along with Head Corporate HR initiatives to constantly upgrade skills and competencies and build organizational capability focusing on first and second line Managers.

- Lead assessment labs and selection processes to ensure succession planning, career development and Career pathing for all Managerial jobs.

- Lead / Drive Talent review process at senior levels to identify key Talent and formulate / execute development actions plan.

- Coach and provide thought leadership to Business Heads and get their buy in while formulating key HR and Business Strategies.

Performance Management :

- Institutionalize the PDP process to support linkages with organizational objectives, Organizational Values and Pay for Performance plans

Organization Culture and Compliance :

- To induct all new hires to Ozone Group values and Compliance Code.

- Implement Organization Health Surveys and other diagnostic tools to renew and build employee centric culture/ Employer of Choice.

Managerial Compensation and benefits :

- Work with the C&B team to analyze survey data and market positioning of all jobs in the respective teams and recommend actions aligned with Ozone C&B strategy.

- Provide guidance on Incentives to Business and formulate effective Incentive tools.

- Monitor, Review and Recommend Annual Salary Increases to ensure Internal parity.

- Provide support to formulate Corporate Benefits.

HRIS / E-Tools :

- Identify, develop, monitor and improvise HRMS to ensure seamless support to HR processes and Planning

Recruitment and Selection :

- Provide expertise and specialized support in all Recruitment and Selection processes

- Develop Talent sourcing strategies for all levels including Campus selection.

- Develop systems for Manpower planning keeping all the complexity and intricacies in mind with an overall focus on Headcount Plan and Business exigencies.

- Promote and drive Employee Referral programs, Internal Job posting and help mobilize resources across various businesses seamlessly.

Induction and Training :

- Coordinate with businessess in order to plan Induction and Product Training for all new hires. Balance multiple needs on Induction from various businesses.

Employee Relations / Engagement and Communications

- Develop and Drive strategies around better employee engagement and employee communication with a focus on issue and grievance resolution in a desirable timeline.

- Drive effective response culture in the entire team to promote employee centricity and build strong HR focus and credibility in employee minds.

- Drive initiatives on Wellbeing and Wellness and other Grievance Handling mechanisms.

HR Transformation and HR capability building

- Lead HR transformation initiatives and contribute effectively to achieve the overall objective

- Identify HR skill gaps in the team and build capabilities with an aim to create a strong HR team.

Complexity:

- To build and establish the one entity culture across multiple Businesses while appreciating unique challenges of each business unit by introducing modern HR practices and work culture.

- Address complexities arising out of size, socio cultural diversity and geographic spread of branches.

Specialized Knowledge and skills:

- A high quality of team work and collaboration

- Effective decision making and Strategic orientation.

- Flexibility and adaptability to learn as well as action things quickly

- Maturity and assertiveness to deal with business managers as partners

- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and manage a matrix structure

- Strong understanding of construction, sales and marketing, finance, IT processes

- Maturity to work with both local, regional managers and stakeholders

- Good understanding of business, incentive plans, target setting, branding etc

- Ability to handle a large, complex business of employees.

Qualifications

- 12-15 years of total experience in Human Resources preferably with HR experience in a high performing environment

- Should ideally have completed Masters degree and/ or MBA program from a reputed institute

- Should have worked with senior management teams and influence.

- Experience in managing complexity and scale.
