General Manager - Corporate Finance - CA - Manufacturing/Chemical

The Company :

An Emerging Leader in Chemical Industry - Mfg & Export of Pigment,Pharmaceuticals, Agrochemicals and Rubber chemicals intermediates. Currently in expansion mode trying to 5X their current revenue over the next 3 to 5 years.

Purpose of the Role :

Managing the financial activities involved in running a corporation.

The Role :

- Planning, raising, investing and monitoring of finance in order to achieve the financial goals of the organisation.

- Financial Planning : get a clear perspective on certain aspects, essentially, what are the sources of finance, how much finance is required by the company and will it be profitable?

- Raising capital : Make choices on the raising capital (i.e.) from the company with the assistance of sources like shares, debentures, banks, financial institutions, creditors etc.. and / or choose to sell stocks to equity while raising long-term funds for business expansion. Manage the fund raising process in terms of preparing the materials, documentations, meeting investors / banks, making presentations, negotiating terms, due deligence and final contracts etc.

- Invest capital : Making informed decisions of deployment of capital with right balance between long term and short term goals in mind.

- Monitoring finance & risks : Control and manage the finance of the company, they have to minimise the risk of investment and at the same time assure maximum returns on the invested capital. Monitor closely for deviations and take corrective actions to restore balance.

The Person for the role :

- PG in Finance / Chartered Account with about 15 to 20 years in corporate finance function for a mid size / large size manufacturing company with atleast 5 years experience in independently managing the corporate finance function of financial planning, fund raising, deployment etc

- Proven track record of raising funds for a growing enterprise with experience raising both debt and equity from appropriate sources will be preferred.

- Analytical, detail-oriented, organizational, strong communication skills, excellent math skills

- Great stakeholder management and people leadership skills.
