General Manager - Corporate Accounts & Taxation - Real Estate (15-20 yrs)
Job Title : General Manager - Corporate Accounts and Taxation
Department/SBU : Accounts and Finance
Location : Head Office
Reporting to : CFO
Number of Reportees : 35+ (Direct & Indirect)
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the role :
- Overall responsibility for Corporate Accounts
- Finalisation of Accounts on Quarterly basis and deal with Auditors (Big four)
- IND-AS (Indian Accounting Standards) Compliance
- Prepare Board presentations and notes
- Manage both Direct and Indirect Tax matters - Compliance and Tax planning
- Guide and oversee internal taxation team and work closely with tax consultants
- Funds management and banking operations management
- Accounts receivables oversight and controls and Accounts payable management
- Interface with Project CEO's and Corporate heads to provide business finance support
- Corporate structuring - M&A and tax planning
- Ensure adequate accounting and internal controls
- System and processes - Drive cross functional process improvement and work closely with IT teams for SAP an other systems enhancement
- Team Management
Knowledge, Experience & Skills :
Educational : Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Commerce + Qualified Chartered Accountant
Experience : Total Experience of 15 + years with at least 5+ years as Head of Corporate Accounts and Taxation with a large scale Construction House.
