General Manager - Compensation & Benefits - BFSI (12-20 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Define a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation package that fits and is aligned to our company's strategy and business goals
- Develop a consistent compensation philosophy in line with work culture and organisational objectives
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, human rights, etc)
- Use various methods and techniques and make data based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and non-financial compensations
- Assess employees needs by conducting organisational psychology surveys to find out what motivates and engages employees
- Prepare job descriptions, job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications
- Participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits
- Differentiate pay systems to invest in the segments of workforce that contribute the most value
- Deploy effective communication strategies and success metrics
- Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices
- Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports
- Building awareness on total Reward- in the organization.
Market Intelligence :
- Staying abreast with the industry trends and review the current policies and programs to ensure market competitiveness.
- Competitive Studies in markets
- Manage compensation and benefits surveys through external agencies to benchmark salaries. Design and development of global pay review guidelines to enable competitive positioning of compensation levels vis-a-vis industry.
- Define guidelines/ principles within company for all C and B programs, Effective communication of compensation philosophy, strategy and guidelines to stakeholders and business partners. Formulate strategy and propose outlay for making market correction and merit increase.
- Drive Annual and Mid-Year Reviews
- End to end lifecycle management of the expatriates (LTA / STA / Expat / Local)
- Finalize Commission pay plans
- Pay Structure maintenance
- Work on Policies and Employment Contracts
Desired Profile : 13+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits from reputed organization.
