General Manager - Commercial Operations


- Responsible for closure of contracts and timely payouts to vendors for the Digital business

- Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure superior value from contracts

- Partner with Business commercial team for clarity on deal terms

- Partner with Vendor and Legal team for closure of Agreements & related due diligence process for content acquisition

- Partner with Finance and Taxation team for Accounting, reporting & Tax related requirements /clarifications or structuring of deals which may include clarification on withholding taxes on transactions with foreign vendors

- Drive timely closure of Vendor Agreements / Work orders / Purchase Orders with productions houses, licensors, artists, writers, format owners, national and international studios, India & International Tech Vendors, Marketing vendors such as PR agencies, Creative agencies, Event organizers, consultants, etc.

- New vendor on-boarding

- Ensure smooth commercial operations

- Maintaining track of all contracts and ensure timely renewals

- Ensure Compliance of Internal processes and policy guidelines

- Ensure Maintenance of documents and adherence to document retention policy

- Facilitate information to various stakeholders as per requirement

- Own the process of weekly / monthly dashboard related to commercial operations

- Own the process of Deal Memo / PO creation and approval for the deals closed by Business commercial teams

- Extend Support for work related to other business verticals and when needed

- Provide clarification or facilitate clearances to teams on availability of rights or contractual entitlements as and when required/requested

- Drive process improvement and efficiencies

- Work and participate in Process improvement projects

- Develop in-depth understanding of various aspects on rights management and rights management system (RMS) related to company

- Participate and own implementation of workflow tools/systems
