General Manager - Commercial - Auto/Manufacturing - CA

Role & Responsibilities :

- Day to day Accounting & bookkeeping for production operations at the plant including contract manufacturing

- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the plant, such as Inventory, Material Receipt, Contractor Payroll, invoicing, Sales dispatches, and other transactions

- Review and analysis of RM, PM Consumption Postings including Product Wise Consumption Report, and consolidation of Factory Cost of Production.

- Liaise closely with the Supply chain team at the plant and work towards optimizing costs.

- Timely analysis and review of plant-related costs and Timely closure of the monthly Plant P&L other financial statements for ensuring smooth month-end & annual closing of books of accounts.

- Regular inputs to the factory head for overall efficiency towards plant operations.

- Driving monthly stock take & Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities

- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and reports.

- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the plant

- Ability to develop and implement commercial strategies, meeting company goals and objectives

- Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors, etc.)

Desired Candidate :

- Qualified CA having 15 years of prior work experience with exposure in handling accounting at manufacturing plant involving General & commercial accounting, Supply chain finance & end to end booking keeping

- Must have worked in Manufacturing Plant

- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)

- Business acumen & Good analytical skillset

- Strong Verbal and Written Communication

- Must have handled big team size Direct & Indirect
