General Manager - Civil Finishes - Aviation Industry

1. Job Purpose :

Lead and guide the Architecture and Finishes team to provide optimal and cost effective design solutions for terminal Building and other buildings in line with master plans, design concepts, manuals and business needs. To lead the Design reviews & approve the drawings and submissions of EPC Contractor and other third parties in line with. To coordinate with Independent Engineer for respective approvals of designs, drawings and other submissions of EPC contractor and other third parties in accordance with master plans, design concepts, manuals and business needs. Plan, execute and complete civil finishes works in coordination with other stakeholders and ensuring implementation of the same adhering to safety & quality standards within specified time & cost duly implementing processes and approved method statements.

2. Key Accountabilities :

Design Management : Ensure review of detail designs for projects from implementation perspective in coordination with Design team, Operations Team & other stakeholders of the Projects.

Procurement management : Support procurement team with Technical and commercial inputs in tendering, vendor evaluation and vendor finalization.

Construction Management : Execution of Civil Finishes works to ensure the project is progressing as per approved design, specifications, timelines and allotted budget under minimal guidance of HOD.

- Under guidance of Project head, To lead and ensure the finishes execution at site in line with the drawings and specifications in coordination with MEP services & Airport systems..

Handing over of project : Ensure the project is handed over to Client with required documentation, providing support to operation team in initial period to stabilize the operation.

Contract Closure : Ensuring Procurement and Contract team closes all the project related contracts.

- To ensure that the design documentation is in compliance with ISO 9000 process

Compliance : Health Safety environment and regulatory compliances - Assist and work with the management for the effective deployment of the safety policy and achievement of the safety objectives and targets goals.

- Team Development

- Plan and drive the team development initiative in alignment with objectives. Develop technical and behavioral skills.

- Engage with the team members to motivate and foster teamwork.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

- Experience with projects of High end finishes viz Hotels, Public utility buildings and Corporate offices.

- Airport experience is preferable.
