General Manager - Category & Merchandising - B2B eCommerce (12-16 yrs)
GM-Category & merchandising, Mumbai
- MBA Tier 1 with 12 to 16 yrs of experience in Modern trade/Shopper marketing/Category management etc. This role is with a company which is into B2B eCommerce platform for rural India
Role & responsibilities :
- Identify opportunities, define category strategy, and translate it into annual/quarterly/monthly plan and execute the same.
- Anchor category selection, product mix, product pricing & inventory control
- Understanding Competition and developing counter strategies, focus on lead parameters
- Oversee day-to-day operations which will include ensuring stock availability, movements in margins and sales velocities.
- Leading pricing, promotions, managing P&L, Cost Optimization structures.
- Build asset monetization capabilities, events & activations
Partner Management :
- Lead Vendor engagement to build annual JBP & deliver on brand plans.
- Negotiate trade terms, garner offtake generation plans & generate additional revenue
- Build Channel differentiation and identify triggers to activate different channels.
- To develop and manage strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders through appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives.
