General Manager - Business HR - EdTech - Our client is looking for GM - Business HR who will be reporting to CHRO. - The person will be working for a well-funded EdTech firm, founded in 2011, which is primarily interactive online tutoring platform where teachers provide school tuitions to students over the internet, using a real-time virtual learning environment that is a technology built in-house. - It operates on marketplace model for teachers, where students can browse, discover and choose to learn from an online tutor of their choice. JOB PURPOSE : - The purpose of this role is to develop and manage HR polices employee engagement, retention, talent acquisition, learning & development, organizational development, employee grievance and exit with the organization's overall strategic objectives and vision. JOB PURPOSE : To contribute to growth and profitability of the company by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives with an objective of attracting and retaining a top-quality employees. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Partners with Functional Heads to align HR strategy to business strategy. - Act as change agent to business through process design and approaches that support - Part of change and transformation by executing OD interventions - Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR leadership team to develop solutions, programs and policies. - Ensure timely actions on resolution of employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and development - Ensure there is no talent gap by implementing talent acquisition for different business verticals PAN India - Supports and partner with stakeholders during annual HR cycle deliverables to include implementation of Learning & development programs, performance management, merit and bonus awards, benefits enrollment, payroll etc. - Evaluates issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution to manage attrition and employee engagement - Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances - Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention - Develop an efficient result oriented team capable to achieve the targets and goals. Key Relationships (External) : - Human Capital Consultants External Vendors - Networking forums (SHRM, NHRD) Key Relationships (Internal) : - CHRO/ CEO/ CXO/Business Heads - Corporate HR - Finance/Accounts - MIS & Controlling Team - Legal Department - Functional Heads of Departments Competencies/skills required : - Agile and fast paced. - Think & act strategically. - High level of integrity and stability. - Result oriented with commercial acumen - Customer Focus - Entrepreneurial mindset - Excellent people management skills Desired qualification and experience : - Post Graduate in HR / Certifications in HR - 15+ years Human Resources experience with minimum 10 years in HRBP role managing from small, medium to large enterprises. - Exposure with working with start-ups is an added advantage. - In-depth knowledge and understanding of systems and processes. - Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), HRMS systems. Work Environment : - Up to 25% travel required - Ability to work overtime
