We have 1 very urgent position in one of the best and established MNC PRIMARY RESEARCH ORGANISATION :

POSITION - GM - Research & Business Head [ Client Solutions Group ]

REPORTING to - National Head

SEGMENT - CLIENT SOLUTIONS GROUP [ Primary Research / Customized Research / Quantitative Research / Ad hoc Research ]

LOCATION:- Gurgaon / Mumbai ( 2 positions total ; 1 each )

REPORTEES: Team of 2 to 3 Team Leads ; Each team leader handling a team of 3 to 5 Research managers & Senior Research professionals.[ Approximate numbers ]

Ctc - negotiable ; depending upon current CTC, experience, business volume, interview status etc.

Job Responsibility :

Research Design and Proposal Development

- Understand client's business questions and design integrated solutions from multiple sources (CLIENT - products- ) and add value through simple business recommendations and insight-based consultancy

- Evaluation of incoming RFP- s; providing input regarding client knowledge and industry specifics for research design and proposal development.

- Hold price negotiations with client's procurement team

- Providing technical expertise and mentoring support to the team

- Support the team in the development of reports, presentations, and other communication materials. This may include research, drafting, editing, data analysis and presentation

- Use appropriate and creative methodologies to design and manage research projects, which may involve the use of quantitative and/or qualitative methods

Client Servicing and Business Development:

- Establish, develop and maintain positive working relationships with client contacts at all levels at all times.

- Maintain a consistent servicing schedule with all clients and ensure all materials used for the service are thoroughly checked and accurate.

- Ensure that the appropriate level of service and support is provided to maximize client retention and contract renewals.

- Continually innovate, develop and suggest enhancements such as new methods of analysis or service techniques.

- Strategic account planning and forecasting of accounts and assessing new business opportunities

- Know, understand and solve the problem of client: Story Telling, Strategic Selling of our product portfolio/solutions

Data Quality & Internal co-operation :

- Be directly accountable for work conducted for their nominated clients in terms of analyses, charting, etc and perform quality checks on all reports for alignment to request, accuracy and correctness

- Coordinate with the internal stakeholders to ensure that the client deliverable timelines are adhered.

Specific Qualifications :

- The candidate should hold a Master's degree in Business Management / equivalent Postgraduation with at least 10- 22 years of experience with a market research agency in consumer research domain preferably quantitative research. The incumbent must have practical experience of handling major industry clients.

NOTE: Candidates having exposure throughout in SECONDARY RESEARCH, pls EXCUSE!

- Driving the following through team at the unit. So, candidates who have been handling BIG brands in DURABLES, ELECTRONICS, IT, TELECOM, AUTOMOTIVE ( at least 60 to 70% of client portfolio from this segment ) will be preferred.

- Full-Time Postgraduate.

- The candidate should possess 10 yrs to 22 years experience bracket with a reputed market research agency into PRIMARY RESEARCH; Quantitative.

- STRICTLY no secondary research pls!

Note :

- Catering to TELECOM, IT, Consumer Durables, Electronics, Automotive segment will have an ADVANTAGE. ). ( at least 60 to 70% of client portfolio from this segment )

Skills ;

- Ability to grasp and quickly understand markets, methodologies, and techniques.

- Good organizer with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

- Sound analytical skills and the ability to interpret research data accurately.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

- Good presentation skills; able to generate interest and engages the client during presentations

- Ability to maintain a positive, motivational, - get things done- attitude, especially when faced with difficult circumstances.

- Excellent sales/negotiation skills and a hunger to develop new business.

- Well-developed interpersonal skills for internal and external client
