The position demands a good understanding of the Company's core business but also the market of interest to leverage the Company's vast experience and local knowledge to access the market opportunities. - The company recognizes that they need and can diversify from their focus on environmental and related assessments and use their knowledge of the new direction that markets are taking in the upstream and downstream hydrocarbon landscape and renewables and downstream petrochemicals etc. - The GM-BD must be able to quickly have his finger on the pulse of what is happening in the market and should have a solid network of contracts of international companies and suppliers that we would present successful commercial partnerships. - Experience and track record in these activities particularly for Oman and region would be very advantageous. Many opportunities exist for establish local firms like ours who are already registered with all the relevant portals and constantly receive Tender invitations. The Role : - To lead and support the development and implementation of the business strategy focused on oil&amp; gas upstream and downstream engineering services and products. This will involve working closely with the management team to identify and win executable business and establish rapid growth within the market place. - Apply expertise across the business development life cycle, from opportunity identification to proposal development and contract execution; - Leverage business development and functional expertise to capture complex technical bids, including identifying and comprehending clients- requirements, developing technical solution options, and establishing a cost-competitive industry solution that can deliver client impact through a winning bid; - Drive market-based competitive intelligence, market assessments, client assessments, and strategic planning efforts in support of expanding specific client-based opportunity portfolios and pipeline; and - Manage key stakeholder relationships, keep the business leadership team informed, and engage in advancing strategic partnerships with clients and industry partners. - To achieve the target of USD 5 million net revenue to company in the first year and establishing long term engineering service contracts with sustainable profit revenues. The Candidate : - 35-40 yr old well qualified sales professional with good experience in selling Engineering Services in Gulf region (Preferably Oman). - Great personality, Excellent communication, Extraordinary presentation skills - Must be an opportunity hunter, entrepreneurship mindset person who treats the company like his own and wholly committed and do deliver success.
