We are looking for a GM/AVP Sales for a Thailand based Retail Giant which has recently entered into India market.
Location: Gurgaon.
This role is a Pan India Corporate Role.
Role:
- Heading a team of Target Group Managers spread across various stores across geographies.
- Design sales strategy and ensure execution to accelerate business growth.
- Drive sales through KAM teams based at respective stores.
- Proactively conduct market analysis and keep abreast competitive market so as to modify strategy as required.
- Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail catchment area, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing
- Plan and set financial targets and customer development strategies in conjunction with various stakeholders such as Director Commercial, Director Operations, Managing Director etc.
- Analyze product and customer sales figures, forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits.
- Maintain strong working relationships with all Head Office departments; proactively communicate issues, requirements, or suggestions and then follow-up to ensure realization.
- Initiate changes to improve the business, and to ensure the stores can compete effectively in the local market.
- Promote career development of a team, dedicated to developing candidates for future growth; act as a mentor.
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- University graduate and preferably MBA or equivalent
- 11-13 years of experience in sales function in retail business. Experience in global firms is a plus.
