General Manager/Assistant Director - Finance - Consumer Durable

Our client leading MNC based in Gurgaon, into the space of Consumer Durables.

The Key responsibilities are:-

- Secure solid governance and sound control environment through continuous review to improve and enhance existing processes and controls.

- Transform the captive India - Shared Services Centre- into a world class professional organisation

- Deploy strategic tracking tools to ensure efficient execution and monitor progress of the strategy.

- Drive efficiency in working capital, especially on Receivable management with dual aspects of business partnering and strong credit control mechanism

- Drive Factory profitability with deep-dive of cost structure and efficiency of operations

- Oversee and lead all financial statements preparation in compliance with Indian as well as US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

- Upgrade internal controls (including internal audit & SOX) & compliance environment and drive best practices

Key Experience & Background

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 15 years of post-qualification experience

- Experience in Functional leadership roles would be an added advantage.

- Experience of working in well-established global multinationals with matrix reporting structures, multiple business lines and management structure

- Managing a large team of finance professionals including qualified accountants, graduates

- Strong finance business partnering experience with proven track record of delivering results in a complex, dynamic environment.

- Strong background in financial control, internal audit, and compliance.

- Up to date on key changes on various GAAP, local statutory and regulatory requirements pertaining to finance.
