Role
- To build a sharply differentiated and lovable vernacular consumer brand in the lending space in India, working closely with the Head of Marketing
- Develop a deep consumer understanding through Qual/Quant research and champion customer's cause internally
- Develop and grow all brand assets and communities: Social, Web and App
- Managing Media planning/buying agencies and vendors for on-time, in-full, cost-optimized campaign management
- Owning the creative development process end to end with multiple agency partners and in-house design/content team
- Developing tools, kits, content, and collateral to create Customer Delight at every touchpoint in the consumer journey
- Conceptualizing Creative, Media and PR innovations to make the company a lovable and path-breaking brand
Skills :
One Skill :
- Proven experience building a consumer internet brand for vernacular audiences apart from brand management stint(s) with TV heavy brands at top consumer companies
Other skills/good to have's :
- Consumer Research and Obsession
- ROI orientation and grasp on numbers and analytics
- Media agency management experience
- Creative agency/freelancer ecosystem suitable for an ROI obsessed startup with ambitious plans
Persona :
- 4-6 years experience overall with at least 2 years at high velocity startups in the B2C Product E-Commerce org's
- High on creativity but highly grounded/practical too
- Tier 1 MBA with foundation at tier 1 consumer goods companies followed by a 2-3 year startup experience/stint
- A strong mix of part creator/conceptualizer, part executor and people manager
- Entrepreneural approach to marketing spends. Frugal Mindset.
- Highly Curious and a strong desire to learn
