General Ledger Accounting Role - BFS (3-5 yrs)
Salary offered: 7 - 8 LPA
Job Description:
1) Check and post General Ledger journal entries to ensure the proper and accurate booking in compliance with group and local accounting policies, e.g. expense accruals, prepayment amortization, etc.
2) Maintain transfer price and standard cost in local ERP system in line with company policies.
3) Maintain sales and COGS record properly to ensure GP is correct.
4) Perform actual costing review, and analyze variances between actual cost and standard cost.
5) Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly close process, ensuring that trial balance is well maintained and closed out, e.g. follow up and trace breakdown of key P&L and B/S accounts, work with the team to solve the problems if any, prepare FAS109 package for deferred tax calculation, Prepare and verify inventory valuation (SMOG & LCM), etc.
6) Prepare monthly account reconciliation and ensure proper follow-up, including analyze expense accrual and amortization balances, follow up long aging items, etc.
7) Provide finance data to internal and external parties as required, and prepare external financial reports as per local requirements.
8) Account records maintenance and filing.
9) Assist to implement and improve the internal control procedure.
10) Support internal and external audit for financial statement, and assist in implementing action items as a result of audit findings.
11) Any other Ad-hoc tasks assigned by line manager.
