Essential responsibilities:

In this role, you will partner with all functions, regionally and globally, to drive improvement of business metrics and strategic priorities that will achieve superior bankable Quality, leading to higher customer satisfaction and lower cost of quality. Also, own and lead regional programs, activities, and metrics to meet and maintain quality standards and reliability of products. Drive efforts to deliver RCA and ACE for better Quality performance.

In addition, you will:

- Develop, communicate, and execute strategy for regional Quality consistent with the Onshore Wind business strategy.

- Drive culture change and sustain improvement of customer critical processes and supporting systems.

- Ensure superior responsiveness to customer needs through a strong operating rigor integrated across functions

- Drive defect prevention by reviewing quality systems, training, and periodic audits.

- Push learnings into sustainable process controls and drive lessons learned back into the responsible functions.

- Lead issue resolution teams in the practical application of methods and tools to resolve complex, cross-functional issues to establish and maintain Quality controls.

- Analyze regional performance in key performance areas, develop customer-sensitive metrics and partner with regional operations teams to execute a continuous improvement plan.

- Ensure effective horizontal working with cross functional leaders to improve and simplify quality procedures.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, or Technical area from an accredited college or university

- Minimum 10 additional years of experience in an industry related functional area

Desired:

- Six Sigma Black Belt certification

- Proven operating leadership experiences - experience personally developing and guiding others through the development of significant business challenges

- Critical change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization

- Strong cross-functional influencing skills
