Role Summary/Purpose:

Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Requires good understanding of work routines and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Support GL Accounting and Reporting for GE Digital Business in India

- Lead DR Reporting processes for the ledger

- Performing day to day accounting activities (Fixed Assets, GL Accounting, Cash, AP)

- Handling Audits - Statutory, Tax, Internal, Transfer pricing etc

- Performing Account Reconciliations - High and Low Risk

- Ensure timely closure of period ends, reconciliations and open items in reconciliations

- Ensure Stat compliances and deposits

- Support Closing and Reporting and Controllership for supported business

- Lead reviews with business and Controllership teams

- Maintain updated Documentation and BCP for all services supported

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant/ MBA Finance

- Over all 1-3 years of experience

- Good working knowledge of Oracle Financials

- Expert working knowledge of Reporting

- Expert working knowledge of Controllership role for business

- Good communication skills

- Good Analytical and Presentation Skills

- Good Interpersonal Skills

- Ability to work and succeed within stretched timelines

Desired Characteristics :

- MARS reporting

- Knowledge of US GAAP
