Key Responsibilities Areas - Responsible for defining the growth plan for GeM, coordinating and executing growth programs, and laying the strategic direction for the organization - Responsible for the smooth functioning of business critical activities like business planning and new business initiative planning - Oversee cross-functional initiatives across engineering, analytics, product management, operations, and marketing functions - Oversee the identification and management of alliances and partnerships critical to GeM's goals and missions - Oversee regular monitoring and coordination of the departments and supervise information dissemination across organization - Provide thought leadership, strategic insight, and clear communication to senior leadership on strategy - Responsible for the setting up of new capabilities resulting in the delivery of tangible business outcomes - Constantly monitor, evaluate and review organization functioning and institute organization-wide change when required - Oversee the promotion of GeM and brand building including conferences and industry meets - Any other responsibility as assigned by the competent authority from time to time Key Shared Accountabilities - To monitor and guide the progress against planned goals through the selection of key performance indicators and metrics - To work with the Product Manager to ensure the development of the platform and its capabilities in line with GeMs growth plans - Oversee the integration of the centers of excellence and the implementation of ideas and recommendations Qualifications and Skill Sets Mandatory - Minimum 13 years experience in managing growth and strategy of large projects or programs or related role - Full time post graduate in management from tier-1 college program (IIMs/ISB/XLRI/MDI/FMS/SP Jain and other colleges within top 50 as per MHRD nirfindia management 2018 Ranking ) - Experience using analytic/database software to develop strategic insights Preferred - Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups - Capability to work in a fast paced high growth environment. KPIs - GMV Growth - Key strategic growth initiatives planned and undertaken - % adherence to timelines of key activities for growth initiatives - Number of partnerships/tie-ups Reporting Structure Reports to: CEO Interested applicants are requested to send in their application by 24/05/2018 Note: i.
