Key Responsibilities Areas :&nbsp; - Heads the legal department and is responsible for all legal and contract management affairs of the entire organization - Lead and direct the provision of sound legal advice and recommendations to aid the board, the CEO and the senior management team in the decision making process - Develop sound legal implementation of business practices to prevent legal exposure and minimize liability where feasible - Own the resolution of contractual issues/disputes - Lead contract management (drafting of contacts, review of contracts, terms and conditions, etc.) - Act as the custodian of all legal files and contracts (articles of association, regulatory and commercial licenses, agency agreements, etc.) - Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance of all departments. - Any other responsibility as assigned by the competent authority from time to time Key Shared Accountabilities :&nbsp; - Assist in the design and content of the annual report, particularly in the areas of corporate governance and legal compliance - Works with departmental leadership and key stakeholders across the organization in overseeing and ensuring legal compliance and maintaining the business's integrity both internally and externally - Oversees the delivery of training on legal issues affecting individual departmental activities and transactions Qualifications and Skill Sets :&nbsp; Mandatory :&nbsp; - Minimum 9+ years experience in a corporate legal environment (experience in the e-commerce/B2B or related space or non-profit a plus) - Master's degree in Law with demonstrated high academic achievement from premier institute (top 30 as per MHRD nirfindia LAW 2018 Ranking ) - Awareness of the existing and new legal and regulatory requirements - Strong people management and leadership skills. - Capability to work in a fast paced high growth environment KPIs : - Survey of degree of satisfaction with legal services from internal customers (other divisions, etc.) - Number of legal cases successfully handled - Average response time to legal inquiries Reporting Structure Reports to: Chief Financial Officer Direct reports: Legal Executives Interested applicants are requested to send in their application by 24/05/2018 Note: i.
