Job Summary

Support the Value Chain CFO and the Engineering Executive to follow the Engineering Operational performance, especially in 2 main aspects, Project Monthly Reviews and Functional costs (Variable, RTS, R&D).

Job Description

Associated to another Engineering Analyst, she/he will have the responsibility to monitor the main Financial KPIs of Engineering:

- During Project Monthly Reviews, she/he will prepare the Finance data using SAP and EMT (Engineering database) according to the methodology already in place; she/he will support the PEMs in its forecast estimate, will document the Cost to Complete estimates and the variation analysis; and liaise properly with Finance OTR to ensure good integration of Engineering estimates in the Project Forecast; she/he will also prepare the Sales pacing for the projects

- As for the Functional costs, she/he will be responsible of the Cost monitoring (3-year plan, Budget, Actuals); she/he will have also to liaise with the Engineering Operations Leader to pace the hours punching and derive the under/over-recovery

- She/he is responsible of the Closing entries to perform

- She/he will be responsible to follow the Headcount evolutions of Global Engineering people, and liaise with the CoE to validate properly the Fixed costs

- On R&D, she/will support the European team for their costs tracking per program

- She/he will also prepare the Pacing and other Engineering reporting put in place to allow the Value Chain CFO and Engineering Executive to monitor the performance

- She/he supports transversal initiatives to improve and simplify the processes

Qualifications/Requirements

- Diploma from a Business School or University with a Finance dominant

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Finance department, with preference in Operational Finance

- Experience in Team supervision

- Fluent English

- Good knowledge of IT systems, SAP, HFM and Office

Skills requested

- Good communication and teamwork capacity, especially with International teams and Operational counterparts

- Analytical capacity to be able to understand properly the Finance complexity of the position

- Capacity to work in a challenging environment, with peak of pressures (monthly closing, PMRs presentations)

- Pragmatic approach, to be able to adapt and react quickly
