In-depth understanding of both direct and indirect tax concepts and principles; management and oversight of GOF and outsourced tax service providers. - Set-up and review ERP systems and processes relevant for indirect tax applications related to Factory operations and oversee implementation. Update of tax requirements in ERPs from time to time. Responsible for leading local tax audits such and support Statutory Finance Audits. Responsible for tax planning for the business. Role Summary/Purpose : - Determine and minimize the company's worldwide tax liability with the highest integrity while complying with worldwide tax laws. Intermediate level professional positions requiring subject matter knowledge and experience, more independence in problem solving and decision making. Qualifications/Requirements : Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college. Chartered Accountant with minimum 7-9 years- work experience on direct and indirect taxes in reputed manufacturing industries or leading tax firms. Strong oral and written communication skills. Desired Characteristics : Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organisational ability. Willingness to travel in country.
