About this Role :


- The Team Manager, Research Content Production based in Gurgaon (India) leads and manages a growing team of associate editors, editors and a team lead managing the proofreading team supporting the global Research Content Production team. He/she partners with the global Research Content Production leaders/other BUs to identify and implement innovative ways to optimize the content production processes and scale the timely production of must-have research.


- Supervise, coordinate and track editing workflow for research documents/conference presentations, optimize allocation of resources, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content. Act as a first escalation point for disagreements between editors and writers or Research and Advisory team managers and analysts. Identify ways to achieve operational excellence and maximum scalability. Source new processes based on team's capabilities and manage and oversee content production projects where appropriate.


What You'll Do :


- Define and communicate goals and objectives in alignment with the global Research Content Production team and other BU


- Identify and implement an integrated global strategy for creating and editing content in line with the focus and priorities of the Research and Advisory content area(s) covered.


- Provide input to the development of company-wide editing/writing/quality policies, standards, and procedures.


- Ensure the Style Guide and editing guidelines are being adhered to.


- Monitor and report standard metrics to optimize capacity and tier responsibilities/special projects


- Take ownership for document quality/timeliness and handle sensitive negotiations with Research and Advisory analysts and team managers, events team and other BU units


- Demonstrate understanding of client needs in the Research and Advisory content area(s) being supported to drive timely production of must-have research


- Provide, facilitate and manage programs and initiatives/trainings to develop staff's editing/writing skills, and to share best practices while underscoring ethics and standards


What You'll Need :


- Graduation/Post Graduation (MBA) in any specialization


- 7-10 years of experience in the research/content industry, with minimum 3 years of team management experience in managing editorial teams/content production/project management/center of excellence or similar environment as part of a global corporation


- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written for clear communication with team members and stakeholders


- Experience in managing multiple senior stakeholders across geographies will be an added advantage


- Exposure to recruitment-related activities


- Excellent project management background will be essential


- Extensive experience in strategic, managerial and mentoring roles and ability to articulate and lead tactful

communication skills with proven self-discipline and collaborative mindset.
