About this Role :
As a part of the Data Science team in Bangalore, the Specialist will oversee the research and data driven projects delivered through TalentNeuron (TN) platform. You will help Talent Neuron support a range of strategic initiatives covering talent, location and competitive intelligence. In specific, gather intelligence and advise on key roles by location, occupation and skill set; data on where competitors are hiring and which skills and roles they are seeking; and location intelligence on where to find and hire top talent at the right price.
What you'll do :
- Develop and document data solutions and data maintenance processes (including data publishing and version control across different data assets)
- Analyze large datasets to identify actionable insights for data model development; design modeling experiments related to labor market
- Participate in the development of methodologies, tools and code used by the IT development team; meet quality and timeliness objectives as set by the global development workflow
- Create an environment of team work, collaboration, open communication, creative thinking, cohesive team effort, and workplace integrity
- Cultivate process knowledge and identify areas for constant optimization and scale for growth
- Continuously seek feedback from stakeholders to improve on deliverables
What you'll need :
- Graduation in Engineering, Economics, Math or Statistics with a Masters (preferred) from a premier institute
- Previous work experience in a quantitative field (preferably part of HR analytics departments /teams)
- At-least an intermediate knowledge of statistical analysis programs such as R, python, etc. good knowledge of a querying language (e.g. SQL)
- Strong knowledge of advanced functions of Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, graphics, statistics- )
- A strategic mindset to bring out the 'so what', able to apply logical, structured frameworks to complex problems
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills; able to partner with team members and project stakeholders spread across the globe
- Clear, authoritative oral and written communication skills
- Demonstration of detail-orientation in previous projects
