About this role :


- Working within the Data Science team, the Senior Specialist will be working on overseeing the research and data-driven projects and the development of statistical data and analysis delivered by the TalentNeuron (TN) business intelligence platform.


- TN is part of the Big Data and advanced analytics revolution and provides insight and analysis on the labor market based on analyzing a unique dataset of multibillion historical labor market records across 40 countries. The candidate will need a strong knowledge of statistics and economics with an emphasis in Data Preprocessing applied on Labor Market.


What you will do :


- Develop and document data quality solutions and index maintenance processes including rebalancing, data publishing and calculation of indexes across different data assets;


- Support and/or manage analysis of large data sets to identify actionable insights for model development; Efficiently work with large datasets and conceptualize an analytical framework for quant projects to solve global HR problems;


- Dissect problems using secondary research and analysis skills, inductive and deductive reasoning, abstract thinking, and root-cause analysis;


- Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership and help shape the strategy of the team by identifying and driving innovations in line with the goals of the team;


- Own communication and presentation of actionable business insights to team members through charts, tables and other data visualization;


- Assist leadership in developing and tracking project plans in partnership with business leads and product roadmap;


- Help in defining/improving and implementing a robust data operation process.


What you'll need:


- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of relevant industry experience, 3-5 years of experience with a Master degree;


- Experience in a quantitative field performing analytics


- Strong ability to handle project management of junior team members


- Expertise in at least one of the following statistical analysis programs: R, Python. Good knowledge of a querying language (e.g. SQL)


- Strong knowledge of advanced functions of Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, graphics, statistics- );


- Excellent oral and written communication skills; effective communication in cross-functional teams


- Detail-oriented and commitment to high-quality results.
