About this role:

Ethics and Compliance - Compliance Diligence Manager: Sanctions Screening Diligence Responsibilities; Enhanced Third-Party Due Diligence Responsibilities; Ad-hoc Responsibilities at the discretion of the DECO

What you will do:

Sanctions Screening Diligence Responsibilities:

- Responsible for conducting Gartner's sanctions screening process using screening software from CSI Review quarterly and monthly batches of screened third-party entities

- Respond to business unit requests for ad hoc screening of third-party entities

- Perform enhanced due diligence on prospective hits to assure proper identification in CSI database

- Amend CSI database to properly reflect entity status, with accurate designations of screened Gartner entities, including adding commentary as appropriate

- Public source internet site review of escalated entities to root out false positives

- Escalate relevant sanctions/prohibited party positives to Gartner IT staff for publication in Gartner databases

- Apprise relevant Gartner Sales and L&C stakeholders to sanctions/prohibited party escalations

- Maintain Gartner Master Sanctions Compliance Ledger containing sanctioned or prohibited entities. Post ledger in both Sanctions Compliance Folder and Ombudsman Ambassador G-drive folders.

- Maintain the Sanctions Compliance G-drive folder with relevant documents at the direction of the DECO

- Enhanced Third-Party Due Diligence Responsibilities:

- Perform ad hoc, first level, due diligence on third-party-entities upon request by the business at the direction of the DECO

- Search public sources for negative media content, financial crime and other risk exposure

- Review and vet parent, subsidiary, principals, etc. of third parties under review

- Draft memos of findings to DECO

- Ad-hoc Responsibilities at the discretion of the DECO:

- Assist other Ethics and Compliance staff with ad hoc projects, as appropriate

- Ensure that all important Ethics and Compliance files are stored in the right place(s)

- Help Ethics and Compliance training staff track associate completion status of training programs

- Assist with internal investigations, as needed

What you will need:

- General knowledge of sanctions screening processes and how they fit into a broader legal compliance program

- Three years of experience working in sanctions or third-party screening (financial institution, regulated industry or international corporation preferred)

- Knowledge of sanctions screening software (CSI or equivalent)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Keen eye for detail and excellent follow-through
