About this role

Working within the Data Science team, the quantitative analyst will develop and produce statistical data and analysis delivered by the Talent Neuron (TN) business intelligence platform. TN is part of the Big Data and advanced analytics revolution and provides insight and analysis on labor market based on analyzing a unique dataset of multibillion historical labor market records across 20 countries. The candidate will need strong knowledge of statistics and economics with an emphasis in Data Analytics applied on Labor Market.

What you will do

- Develop and document data quality solutions and index maintenance processes including rebalancing, data publishing and calculation of indexes across different data assets;

- Analyze large data sets to identify actionable insights for model development;

- Building key data sets to empower operational and exploratory analysis;

- Designing and evaluating statistical modeling experiments related to Labor Market;

- Participate in the development of methodologies, tools and code used by the IT development team;

- Work with the research team and quantitative analysts to build analytic, predictive, and forecasting models;

- Implementation and Maintenance of current models

- Communicating and presenting analytical insights to team members through charts, tables and other data visualization;

What you'll need:


- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics or economics with 2-3 years of relevant industry experience, 0-2 years of experience with a Master's Degree;

- Strong knowledge of at least one of the following statistical analysis programs like R, Stata etc;

- Strong knowledge of advanced functions of Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, graphics, statistics);

- Excellent oral and written communication skills;

- Detail-oriented and commitment to high quality results.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

- Strong project management and time management skills;

Bonus Points (good to have)

- Coding: querying language (e.g. SQL), general purpose programming language (e.g. Python);
