Global Sales Operations (GSO) is a division within Gartner which encompasses Sales Technology, Sales Productivity, Territory Planning & Analytics, Sales Learning & Development, Operational Management, and Communications & Proposals. Position Summary:
Are you passionate about solving complex problems and implementing those solutions at scale across a global, sales-led organization? You may have found your match. The individual in this role is responsible for designing, building, and executing programs and services to maximize the conversion of Gartner's new business pipeline. You will use a combination of analytics, data science, technology, creativity, strategic thinking, change management, lean product management, and relentless execution to help Gartner's 4,000 account executives in 100 countries convert their prospects into clients. Whether the prospect is attending an immersive experience at one of Gartner's 70+ destination conferences around the world or receiving a proof of concept from one of our 2,000 analysts or advisors, your programs will ensure globally consistent, high-quality execution and from the sales organization to maximize both win rates and new sales revenue. Gartner is looking for an innovative leader to take these pipeline conversion programs to the next level and contribute to the company's mission-critical priority of increasing sales productivity.
What You Will Do:
- Deliver improved sales execution and outcomes across major prospect conversion tools including conference conversion programs and proofs of concept with Gartner experts and specialists. Leverage data and analytics to identify areas for both continuous improvement net new programs
- Work directly with global sales leaders and provide proper support to ensure successful execution of prospect conversion programs
- Collaborate with products & services, conference, marketing, research, global sales operations and other business partners to ensure conversion programs meet the needs of the sales organization and are set up to position account executives and sales leaders for success
- Conduct bright spot analysis to identify practices of high performing teams and embed into program design where possible
- Define, maintain, and communicate conversion program best practices in partnership with marketing, research, and other business partners; develop and evangelize best practice approaches using tools, training, and supporting resources for account executives and sales leaders
- Build, improve and operationalize processes and tools to ensure consistent global execution and scalability of conversion programs; lead business requirements for sales tools and reporting enhancements
What You Will Need:
- 5+ years- experience in product management, management consulting, project management, or sales operations, with extensive experience working with technology and sales teams
- Bachelor's degree required; business or IT-related major preferred
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional, cross-regional teams to create and deploy successful large regional or global projects under tight timeline
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into actionable initiatives and deliver results beyond expectations
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change management initiatives
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as excellent interpersonal and team skills. Previous experience in large, global companies strongly preferred
- Proactive and entrepreneurial; steep learning curve and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong business acumen, planning and organizational skills
- Expected travel 10%
