About this role:

Talent Lab is Gartner's signature program targeted at high potential early-to mid-career research talent that has had tremendous success globally. This program is designed for rapid skill acquisition and career growth, wherein associates will gain on-the-job experience, education and exposure to Gartner best practices and research methodologies. We- re seeking a Team Manager to lead a team of 6-8 research analysts with direct line responsibility for talent development, stakeholder management, and long-term growth of the program.

What you'll do:

- Be a people leader of analyst associates with direct line responsibility for talent development

- Ensure quality across all facets of analyst role - client interactions, research writing, and presentations.

- Lead your team through effective coaching / continuous performance feedback, managing performance at all levels.

- Assess hiring needs to source, recruit, and onboard a group of diverse of next generation talent

- Cultivate, own, and influence stakeholder partnership that yields people and program growth

- Partner closely with internal dotted-line stakeholders to ensure consistency associate learning experiences that are best-in-class

- Advance the analysts- competencies and capabilities so that they are on-track to transition into aligned content teams.

- Motivate, coach, facilitate, solve work problems, address people-related issues, and be actively involved in the day-to-day activities of the team

- Be fanatical when it comes to diversity, inclusion, and equity leadership practices

- Embrace and drive continuous process improvements, knowledge sharing, best practices within the team and identify training needs

What you'll need:

- Bachelor's degree in related field; Master's preferred

- 7 - 12 years of experience in the research industry; minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing and mentoring research associates involved in client facing roles

- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, teach, and relay complex ideas

- Exposure to managing people and recruitment related activities
