About This Role :


- As a Content Marketing Manager, International, you will lead a team of Content Analysts, Editors, Project Managers and Marketing specialists to help Gartner Digital Markets brands (Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice) grow in several markets around the globe.


- You will oversee and coordinate the tasks and deliveries of your team members, working closely together with the Marketing Associate Director and the Content Associate Director for the International team (based in Barcelona, Spain).


What You Will Do :


- Build and manage a high-performing content marketing team.


- Analyze content performance and make critical decisions on the direction of our content strategy.


- Lead the on-time creation and delivery of high-quality and engaging content to ensure we meet the needs of our target audience (small to midsize businesses).


- Lead the content outreach and offline SEO operations and deliveries to ensure we meet the defined objectives


- Work with marketing teams to ensure content is SEO optimized, promotable and promoted effectively.


- Ensure that all projects and go-to-market activities are delivered on-time and within the scope


- Track projects performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals


- Forecast content performance to align content strategy with business goals and collaboratively make longer-view decisions on team expansion and breadth and depth of content coverage.


- Work to collaboratively formulate and execute on change initiatives that will keep our teams, systems and content on the leading edge.


- Grow your capabilities within the broader environment of Gartner leadership development.


- Liaise with the teams and content and marketing leadership in Barcelona in order to ensure alignment and deliveries


What You Will Need :


Education :


- Bachelor of Arts in English, Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication, Marketing or related field of study.


- Master's degree is a plus.


Professional Experience :


- 8-10 years of experience in content marketing


- Minimum 3 years of experience in building and managing high achieving content and marketing teams in an environment of continuous improvement and significant change.


- B2B or software/technology industry experience is a plus.


- Prior experience in delivering relevant business software content highly desired.


- Prior experience in delivering SEO-targeted web content also desired.


- Experience with managing or working on international content outreach, social and PR campaigns required


- Experience with SEO (onsite and offsite) required


Technical / Professional Skills & Competencies :


- Strong project management skills and ability to lead teams through significant change.


- Experience with Google Docs, WordPress and other Content Management Systems (CMSs).


- Experience with data analysis, Google Analytics, BI tools and data-backed decision making required


- Experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs)
