Gartner - Business Analyst - VBA Automation

About the team:

- The Product and Services team in Gartner works directly with Gartner's service delivery group with the central goal of driving productivity of the service associates, and to enable process efficiency in the way the service team delivers value to the clients.

Job description:

- Provide support to client value managers in optimizing the existing processes and maximizing the client outreach

- Design and execute analytics projects and communicate findings to key stakeholders

- Partner with other members on various ongoing initiatives like creating and updating dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders. Power BI is a must.

- Innovation and process optimization: Ideate on process optimization for current processes; identify opportunities to improve productivity through automation and collaborate with business analysts to continuously learn new ways to solve problems

- Stakeholder management and reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly reports on performance of the initiatives for internal and external stakeholder consumption

- Collaboration with several service groups and associates: Participate in training new members of the team and work closely with several groups of service associates at once

Essential must-have skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar with 1-3 years of experience in automation of processes using VBA

- Experience in business analytics with coding experience in SQL, python, and Power BI is a good to have

- Detail-oriented with high personal standard for quality and accuracy along with a strategic mindset to interpret and bring out the - so what from data

- Advanced proficiency MS Excel with VBA coding and Power Point. Knowledge of Python would be a plus.

- Strong orientation towards process and operational excellence
