Business Analyst - Gartner Peer Insights

About the team:

This is a unique opportunity for a creative and charismatic individual to be part of the product team for Gartner Peer Insights (GPI). GPI's mission is to transform the way enterprise software & services are bought and sold by creating the industry standard for reviews and ratings.

Job description:

- As a Business Analyst, you would own cross-functional program management for content production, while managing a lean production engine that optimizes production capacity while ensuring 100% quality

- In addition, you own end-to-end delivery of content production work streams

- Lead problem solving for content production to improve processes through analytic approaches, see - so what- and, develop thorough, straightforward recommendations and present to internal stakeholders/senior management

- Assess workload across the team and help the team manager to manage heavy projects, prioritization, and workload sharing. Own projects, understand & scope project requirements and map out delivery plan

- Apply lean principles in your day-to-day problem solving and lead knowledge sharing sessions

- Engage with stakeholders through targeted, crisp and timely communication

Here is a sample of some initiatives you would work on:

- Production existing data products, including Voice of the Customer, Peer Lessons Learned and Vendor Spectrum .

- Identify and innovate improvements in content production (i.e. reducing production errors, removing waste) to increase productivity

- Partner with other business units (e.g. Research & Advisory, Legal, etc.) to handle internal & external vendor escalations

Essential must-have skills:

- Master- s/MBA degree and graduation in engineering and exposure in Digital Products space. Coursework in business analytics, advanced analytics, and business reporting would be preferred

- 4-7 years of relevant industry experience in Tech/IT industry, Research or Consulting

- Advanced proficiency PowerPoint, MS Excel, knowledge of PowerBI and Python would be a plus

- Exposure and understanding of lean six sigma and process optimization techniques

- Program management experience & capability to give independent opinions based on facts

- Strong communication and collaboration skills; be a self-starter who can anticipate business needs and fulfill them in a proactive manner
