Gartner, the leading Research & Advisory firm, is now offering a development program targeted for early to mid-career professionals looking to drive their career to new heights! Gartner's New Talent Lab is a program designed for rapid skill acquisition and career growth. You will embark on an 18-36 month learning journey centered on investing in YOU.

As an Associate Principal Analyst you will engage with clients to support their most challenging supply chain planning initiatives, ultimately helping them to make the right decisions for their role and their business. To support these conversations you will research markets, practices and trends and produce written research for Gartner clients to download and apply. You will meet with clients, via video conference and eventually onsite, given client demand. As an analyst, you will collaborate with peers and become a published author on Gartner.com showcasing your own thought-leading research, growing your knowledge and your brand as a Gartner Analyst


As a Gartner analyst you must be a motivated, organized, critical thinker, with an ability to deliver to fixed time-bound commitments, with high quality. To support these conversations you will research markets, practices and trends and produce written research for Gartner clients to read and apply. The analyst will be collaborating with their peers of all levels of seniority and geographies with poise.


What you'll do:


- Cover specific topics in the core Supply Chain Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, or Sales and Operations Execution space


- Define and conduct research on assigned areas of supply chain planning business processes and create specified volumes of written documentation of research, to set timelines.


- Networking with Gartner clients, analysts, evaluating and analyzing information and participating in Research


- Meetings and other primary or secondary research methods which comprise the Gartner research process.


- Produce impactful written analysis for our client constituency. Specialize analysis and advice to industry / role-specific research as necessary.


- Provide actionable advice over client interactions for your coverage areas via teleconference, video conference or webinar and event presentations.


- Credibility to represent Gartner research methodology, strategies and positions effectively at senior executive level.


- Provide support to the sales organization to renew and develop business. Advice prospective and existing clients via telephone and video-enabled teleconference or at Gartner events. Demonstrate Gartner research value.


- Actively collaborate with peers and contribute to establishing company research positions.


- Engage in clear, effective dialogue on complex concepts, and communicate them with poise.


- Leadership and Influence: Persuades, encourages, or gains the support of others and causes them to take action.


- Accepts personal accountability, takes ownership and perseveres. Embraces feedback with a mindset of continuous improvement of self and clients

What you- ll need:


- Graduate/ Graduate + MBA from leading B-schools


- 3-6 years experience working in the supply chain planning and/or manufacturing scheduling roles.


- Subject matter familiarity in the demand planning and forecasting, supply planning, master scheduling, production planning, distribution planning, inventory planning, sales and operations execution (S&OE) or sales and operations planning (S&OP), with the ability to demonstrate understanding of the business applications and opportunities in those topics.


- Help us see the future & be creative. You must be a lifelong learner with foundational knowledge and experience in helping supply chain planning leaders to develop themselves, in helping organizations to change and in helping teams to develop the supply chain and/or manufacturing planning and scheduling talent needed in the 21st century.


- You will need to be flexible and deal well with ambiguous situations where a client question might not be clear enough and where you will have to apply your knowledge and personal experience to craft a specific and actionable advice to senior executive leaders.
