About This Role :

- Gartner, the leading Research & Advisory firm, is now offering a development program targeted for early to mid-career professionals looking to drive their career to new heights! Gartner's New Talent Lab is a program designed for rapid skill acquisition and career growth. You will embark on an 18-36 month learning journey centered on investing in YOU.

- An Associate Principal Analyst aligned with the IT Finance, Economics, Value and Risk team will conduct research and analysis covering IT Financial management practices, Business value of IT, IT Benchmarking and general cost optimization strategies will conduct research and analysis covering critical issues, solutions and capabilities for multiple industry topics and related technologies/vendors. Delivering advice, and guidance to our research and advisory clients through published research, conversations with clients (Inquiry), teleconferences, and client meetings. 

- The research and advice is focused on helping CIOs and IT leaders execute on their financial challenges and help the business meet its objectives.

- It is important that you also have a vision for how Digital is changing the nature of business models and financial performance of organizations, how the CIO/IT plays a part in this and how technologies such as cloud, A.I., Blockchain, machine learning, chatbots etc could play a part in helping change the organization's cost structure.

What You'll Do :

- Define and conduct research in specific areas and create specified volumes of written documentation of research, to set timelines.

- Networking with Gartner clients, vendors and analysts, evaluating and analyzing information and participating in Research Meetings and other primary or secondary research methods which comprise the Gartner research process.

- Produce impactful written analysis for our client constituency. Specialize analysis and advice to industry / role-specific research as necessary.

- Provide actionable advice over client interactions for your coverage areas via teleconference, video conference or webinar and event presentations.

- Provide support to the sales organization to renew and develop business. Advice prospective and existing clients via telephone and video-enabled teleconference or at Gartner events. Demonstrate Gartner research value.

What You'll Need :

- Graduate + MBA from leading A & B-schools (BE/B.Tech from Grade A engineering colleges (will be added advantage)

- 3-6 years experience working within a strategic decision-making unit or in a related discipline.

- Excellent knowledge in the digital technologies and it's impact on business performance

- Excellent knowledge of how to read financial statements of public companies.

- Financially literate graduate who has experience in interpreting and explaining variances to budget/financial plans.

- Ambitious, eager to learn about new technologies both inside and outside their field of expertise and willing to keep their finger on the pulse of the changing IT landscape to meet the demands of our customers.
