Summary: Responsible for cost effective procurement of Products, Supplies and Outside contract services including IT Hardware, Software and Services. Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement of Capital goods, Service contracts, Supplies, and all other indirect materials for all functions including Tech, HR, Admin etc. Develops, implements, and maintains policies and procedures to reduce costs and streamline indirect procurement procedures. Leads, supports and/or guides all RFI/RFP/RFQ Indirect opportunities for all departments. Responsible for developing effective Business Partner relationships internally and externally at various levels. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and follow the Non-Merchandise Procurement Policy, educating stakeholders as needed - Responsible for Procurement of IT Hardware and Software - Manages spend in areas of Contract Labour, Engineering Services, IT Consultants, Telecom providers, Capex spend and other specific materials not negotiated globally by the Strategic Sourcing Team.- Responsible for Negotiation of Insurance Contracts, L&D Contracts and other HR contracts - Responsible for Negotiation of Admin Contracts - Engages and establishes partnerships across all brands and functions to collaborate, influence and execute sourcing strategy. Drives strategic cost reduction efforts. Recommends and initiates improvements to the overall procurement program. - Negotiates favorable terms, Volume Discounts and Long-Term Contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods, services and supplies. - Manages, Plans, and Organizes the development and implementation of the company's indirect procurement methods and processes. - Determines the most appropriate and cost-effective procurement methods, processes, tools, and systems - Negotiates and maintains Supplier Agreements and Contracts that define quality, delivery schedules, pricing, service levels and other terms and conditions. - Builds effective relationships with external suppliers to drive and execute sourcing strategy - Develop category knowledge and regularly leverage industry experts, associations, peers and stakeholders to identify and benchmark best practices - Responsible for accomplishing financial objectives-: - Forecast requirements - Prepare an annual budget - Schedule expenditures - Analyse variances & initiate corrective actions - Demonstrates adaptability to manage the changing business needs as they arise Required Qualifications: - Post Graduate degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related discipline; MBA or Advanced degree preferred - 8 - 10 years related Procurement experience required especially in the Tech Space - Experience in a dynamic organization with experience in sourcing - Experience planning and leading negotiations - Demonstrated Leadership Ability required - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment to achieve high levels of performance and deliver sustainable results to the team - Excellent prioritization skills with ability to adapt to change quickly - Demonstrated proficiency with the computer applications appropriate to the position and assignment - Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. - Demonstrate strong ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously - emphasizing attention to detail, follow through and adherence to deadlines - Strong Presentation and Training skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong Customer service and interpersonal skills - Strong oral and written communication skills.
